Fashion Find: H&M For a Day at Kensington Market
Hello luvs,
Let me begin that I am a mainstream size pessimist. Despite my friend's encouragement, I never enjoy the experience of walking around in stores like H&M because I rarely ever find anything that fits but in the spirit of Mother's Day sadness (love and miss you,) I decided to fill my appetite for flyness and came upon this cotton number. The fit is perfect, it's a size large and it comes in a number of designs and colours. The price is $12.95 and at 95% cotton and 5% elastane it will feel wonderful on a hot summer day at Kensington.
As for the accessories I decided to touch on gold tones.
Here's the 411 on the outfit:
Dress: H&M
Cardigan: Toto Collection
Ring and Bracelet: Forever 21
Flats: Coach
Bag: Kensington Market
Belt: Pennington's

When Tommy Met Anna at the Room
Hello luvs,
Last time I wrote to you I was all freaked out about meeting Anna Dello Russo, well it turns out I had nothing to worry about. She was sweet as pie! And Tommy Ton was the perfect gentlemen. Together the duo dispell a lot of the stereotypes out there about fashion people taking themselves too seriously. The event was an exhibition going on at the Bay of some of Tommy Ton's favourite portraits of Anna Dello Russo. The interview was followed by a chic cocktail party. Here are some pics of what I wore to the event (I warn you my camera is on its deathbed so the quality of the pics is not its very best).
Loving the concentrated look on Nicolas Mellamphy's face in the background. But then again, Anna takes a very captivating picture! My favourite quote of her from the interview is, "If you want to wear a cherry hat, why not?"
I warned you about my own pictures, didn't I? I couldn't get a full-on shot because I didn't have anyone around to take a picture of me and I always feel weird about asking strangers to do it. But the first outfit is from the following places: top (TRAC), belt (Forever 21+), and skirt (Calvin Klein).
