OOTD No. 1
Here's my first 'outfit of the day' post. Let me start by saying that I am indeed an awkward, little wallflower; my nailpolish will always be chipped and (as my friends can attest) my clothes will never be perfectly pressed. I like OOTD posts however, because they'll allow me to edit and see how I can come out of my comfort zone. It will be nice to see how my style evolves. With all that being said, I bid thee adieu.

Blouse: Thrifted
Belt: Voluptuous
Pants: Forever 21
Shoes: Torrid
Purse: Gifted (and it's vegan leather too!)
Bracelet: MICALLA Don't Ask
Brooch: Sample Sale
I hope you liked it! There's nothing I love more than an androgynous look with a vintage nod.
P.S. You can catch my reason for loving Fall in The Bay's B-Insider! I was so blessed to have the opportunity to film with fashion film director Francisco Garcia. Believe me when I say I was a HOT, nervous mess!

Gym Bag Swag
I must confess, when I was younger and I thought I had nowhere to shop my mother and I would wear mens clothing A LOT! Just recently I had the same dilemma when I joined a gym. Shopping around I took one look at the tiny yoga tops and pants that surrounded me and headed straight for the sweats in the mens section of Wal-Mart. But after months of feelng awkward (and extremely hot from the thick layers of cotton) I realized that when it comes to work out clothes when you look great you feel great. I needed to do more research so I did some googling and a trek around SportChek and came up with these faves:
My absolute favourite purchase was this AdiShape jacket (complete with thumbholes at the wrists for strength training) from Adidas along with the capris. The jacket isn't available online but I found it in-store at SportChek along with a really cute Diadora hoody. Also, there were some great tops from Nike, Columbia and Firefly although Nike has a wider selection on their website.
I was hoping for a good find at Lululemon and came up with nothing but came across Miowear a plus size yoga clothing line while web surfing. The clothing is cut wonderfully and looks amazing and comfortable. I also found a few good yoga pieces along with some sports bras at Old Navy.
As for the men's sweats I still borrow a few pieces from the boys here and there. There's nothing like a good baggy sweatpant paired with a fitted top. Below is a look into my gym bag. Have fun shopping ladies!

Sydney Fashion Week and Myers' Big is Beautiful Show
I've been meaning to post about this event for a while now as I was happy to see a line of curvy beauties rocking the runway. Australian department store Myer held their 'Big is Beautiful' show during Sydney Fashion Week featuring full figured models including the one they discovered through their model search. Below are pics of my favourite pieces:
1. Myers, 2. Myers, 3. Basque Woman, 4. Bib Work.
You can see more pictures of the event here.
